Bryan Goldberg is CEO and founder of Bustle Digital Group. Under his leadership, BDG has become the fastest growing publisher in modern media. Collectively, the portfolio reaches 84 million readers a month and serves hundreds of the globe's largest advertisers.
Prior to BDG, Goldberg founded Bleacher Report, the nation's largest digital sports media company, which was acquired by Time Warner in 2012.
A graduate of Middlebury College, Goldberg began his career in management consulting and finance.
Kathy is the Chief Financial Officer of BDG, and has over 20 years of international experience in media, arts & entertainment, fashion and sports.
Prior to joining the Company, Kathy held senior financial positions at Christie’s as SVP, Global Managing Director of Commercial Finance; IMG, as Senior Finance Director of Strategic Initiatives and IMG Fashion; and CBS, where she was the Business Manager for the network news operations in New York.
Kathy is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College and began her career in public accounting.
Jason oversees all partner strategy, marketing and advertising sales across platforms, as well as other high-impact bespoke programs for Bustle Digital Group's partners.
Prior to joining the Company, Jason was Senior Vice President, Brand Partnerships & Head of Revenue for Fusion Media Group. He has more than 20 years of experience with some of the industry’s most celebrated brands, including senior leadership positions at Condé Nast Traveler, Vanity Fair, Entertainment Weekly and Teen Vogue. Jason started his digital media and marketing career as Maxim.com’s first Advertising Director.
Jason received both his B.A. in Advertising and M.A. in Media Arts from the University of South Carolina and lives in New York City.
Under Trisha’s guidance, Bustle Digital Group attracts and develops the best talent in the digital media industry. She leads the efforts for talent management and recruitment, while developing strategic HR plans and policies to support organizational effectiveness.
Prior to Bustle Digital Group, Dearborn was the Director of Human Resources at AOL. She previously worked at Time Warner Cable Media and Merrill Lynch.
She is a graduate of Loyola University in Maryland and holds an M.A. in Human Resources Development from New York University.
Emma oversees content and strategy for BDG's Lifestyle & Parenting Portfolios including Bustle, Elite Daily, NYLON, The Zoe Report, Fatherly, Romper, Scary Mommy, and The Dad.
Prior to BDG, Emma served as the executive editor of ELLE, the No. 1 fashion magazine brand in the world, with 45 international editions. She joined ELLE from Bloomberg, where she was the editorial director of Bloomberg Pursuits. Previously, Rosenblum was a senior editor at Bloomberg Businessweek, where she oversaw the back-of-book ETC section, and a senior editor at Glamour, where she covered pop culture, celebrities and relationships. She began her career at New York magazine.
Josh oversees content and strategy for BDG's Culture & Innovation Group including Mic, Input, Inverse, and Gawker.
Previously he was the founder of Independent Media, Chief Digital Content Officer at Bloomberg, the co-founder of The Verge and co-creator of Vox Media, and Editor-in-Chief of Engadget.
Tyler leads the 20-person product team, protects their time and focus, and facilitates their ideas. Tyler oversees a technical stack that serves billions of page views a month to 80 million unique visitors; this was built on his experience helping to scale Tumblr from 500 million to 15 billion monthly page views as well as tackling similar problems in the early years of Bleacher Report.
Tyler has worked at Tumblr, Paperless Post, 8tracks, and Bleacher Report.
Kimberly is responsible for the company’s communications and positioning strategies, media relations and internal communications.
Prior, Kimberly served as Executive Director of Communications & Strategic Partnerships at Glamour, Condé Nast where she had oversight of PR, special projects, events and editorial partnerships. Previously, she was executive vice president at Edelman on the Global and U.S. Unilever business, providing a spectrum of communications on brands including Dove, Suave and Axe. During her career, she has held senior positions at leading PR agencies in London and New York, developing and executing campaigns on behalf of some of the world’s most iconic brands, including Amazon, American Express, Tribeca Film Festival and Lionsgate.
Emily leads a 40+ person creative team comprised of marketing, design, branded content and production. This team ideates and executes all custom partner programs across the portfolio in addition to all design and custom photography for the editorial brands.
Previously, Emily was the Creative and Content lead at The Foundry at Time Inc., where she was in charge of all branded content and design for the fashion and beauty verticals. She has over 20 years of experience in marketing, branded content and design from leading publications such as InStyle, Gourmet, GQ, Teen Vogue and TheKnot.com.
Emily studied design at Rhode Island School of Design and holds a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York.
Before joining Bustle Digital Group, Kai worked at Electus/IAC where he served as Senior Vice President of Media Operations and Strategy. Previously, he worked at Heavy, Digitas, and Telcordia Technologies.
Kai is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and holds an M.S. from Columbia University.
Meghan founded the Commerce team in 2016, and it has quickly grown to be one of the leading affiliate marketing teams in the industry. Meghan oversees the Commerce team's strategy, editorial content, and marketing across all of BDG’s publications.
Prior to joining Bustle, Meghan was the founder of the award-winning startup ChickRx, an online platform connecting women with doctors and health experts to make is easier for women to receive health advice. Meghan began her career on Wall Street, where she was an analyst at Lehman Brothers and an Assistant Vice President at Barclays Wealth.
Meghan graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with an A.B. degree in History.
Sharon Mussalli is a dynamic executive with robust general management, analytical, P&L, growth and monetization experience, possessing a deep understanding of today’s modern consumer from mobile behavior to commerce habits to preferred media types. She is a media world thought-leader with analytical and business skills honed at MIT, and a passion for innovation.
Before helping to architect Some Spider’s sale to BDG, she joined the company in its early days from Facebook. Sharon has been responsible for the growth and monetization of all aspects of the Company.
Sharmi Gandhi is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development where she focuses on BDG’s overall growth trajectory.
Before joining, Sharmi served as SVP at Endeavor Streaming focusing on launching direct to consumer OTT video services leveraging Endeavor’s large swath of assets and relationships via WME, IMG, and other properties. Prior to Endeavor, Sharmi served as EVP of Strategy and Development at Mic, a millennial-focused digital publisher that was acquired by BDG in 2019, where she led strategic partnerships, content development and finance.
Sharmi joined Mic from Vevo where she was VP of Business Development, and prior to her time at Vevo, she worked at BBC Worldwide and in private equity at AlpInvest Partners and investment banking at Bear Stearns.
She is a graduate of Emory University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration and is originally from Atlanta.
Pamela currently oversees advertising and brand partnerships for the East Coast and UK at BDG. Pamela joined the company in April, 2018, via The Zoe Report acquisition, which she helped launch with her sister in 2009.
Prior to joining BDG, Pamela had a varied career in Human Resources, Executive Search and Marketing across the retail and finance sectors.
Pamela received her B.A. from the University of Michigan. She is a native New Yorker and relocated back to NYC when joining BDG.
Trixie Ferguson Gray served as Senior Vice President for the in-house brand studio, Charlotte, leading a team that creates brand experiences through bespoke content, events, and media partnerships.
Before joining BDG, Trixie served as Senior Partner, Branded Content & Experiences at MediaCom, an agency within WPP’s GroupM division, where she led content strategy, custom program development and activation for clients across the business.
She has also held leadership positions at Maxus, a GroupM sister agency, where she led insights, creative strategy and media ideation for clients, and before that served as Vice President, Experience Architect at Universal McCann.
Gray lives in Brooklyn with her family.
Karen oversees creative efforts for the lifestyle brands including Bustle, Nylon, The Zoe Report, Elite Daily and Romper.
A former student of Fine Art and Art History, Karen started her career at British Vogue as an intern, within less than a month Karen had established herself as a regular freelancer. Working as a Picture Editor and Designer for Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and GQ amongst others of the industry’s leading titles, it was not long before Karen was appointed Art Director of Vanity Fair’s U.K. office in 2007. She went on to be appointed Creative Director of Special Issues and Promotions - a position she held from 2009 to 2014.
Karen moved to New York in the summer of 2014 to continue her career at Conde Nast as Art Director of Teen Vogue under Amy Astley’s editorship, working across the print and digital platforms.
In 2016 Karen left editorial to work to join Amazon Fashion as Senior Art Director. In her three years Karen created on and off-site marketing materials for all Amazon Fashion’s Private label brands.
Zahra manages the Engineering team at BDG and is responsible for supporting countless brand relaunches and scaling products as the company continues to grow.
Prior to BDG, Zahra worked on the open web at the Mozilla Foundation. She holds a BA in Architecture as well as a Master’s in Civil Engineering.
Janine oversees brand partnerships for the Parenting vertical at BDG.
Prior to BDG, she was the first salesperson at Some Spider and grew to serve as the SVP of Sales. There, Janine established demand for brand partnerships and built a robust team that consistently exceeded sales goals. She has over 20 years experience in the advertising business, including roles at Web MD and Meredith.
Janine received her B.A. from University of Virginia and lives in NY with her husband and two children.
Kim oversees Advertising Operations and Sales Media Planning where she focuses on media strategy, vendor relationships, platform management, and general business processes.
Prior to BDG, she was the first female hire at Bleacher Report, where she oversaw advertising operations and account management through the acquisition by Turner Media.
Kate leads content distribution and strategic partnerships across all of the group’s brands. Additionally, Kate's team is responsible for editorial video strategy and branded video development.
Previously, she was Vice President of Business Development at Viacom, charged with accelerating partnerships to evolve Viacom’s social, digital and mobile arenas, supported by its data-driven Ad Sales solutions.
Jessica oversees all partner strategy and advertising sales across platforms for the West Coast and Midwest.
Prior to joining the Company in August of 2019, Jessica held a variety of sales leadership roles at Time Inc., Conde Nast and AEG. She has more than 20 years of experience with some of the industry’s most iconic brands, including Vanity Fair, Sports Illustrated and Rolling Stone.
Jessica received both her B.A. in Communications and Sociology from the Ohio State University and lives in Los Angeles California with her husband and three children.
Carrie oversees BDG's 20+ person Client Experience team, which encompasses account management and branded production. The team's responsibilities include managing post-sale campaign executions, talent relations, and complex creative productions while providing ‘white-glove service’ to BDG's advertising partners.
Previously, Carrie worked at Meredith Corp. (formerly Time Inc.) for over 10+ years on the Client Activation team, where she oversaw and produced digital and integrated programs with clients such as AstraZeneca, Ford, L’Oréal, Anheuser-Busch, Pfizer, General Motors, Unilever, and Ministry of Tourism, India.
Carrie graduated from Villanova University with a B.A. in Communications.
Jackie founded the BDG Studios team in 2015 and has overseen its growth into the full-service, award-winning branded content studio it is today. Her team leads branded content strategy and execution across the entire portfolio of BDG brands, providing creative direction and editorial insight from pre- to post-sale.
Prior to BDG, Jackie oversaw RFP-driven branded content strategy and execution for HuffPost's Partner Studio.
Jackie graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in English and American studies.
Wesley oversees Marketing & Audience Development where he focuses on audience growth & diversity, social strategy, sales support, and content discovery.
Prior to Elite Daily's acquisition by BDG, he served as the site's General Manager where he also oversaw social media strategy, partnerships, and distribution.
Previously, Wesley was the Director of Content Operations at Condé Nast, working closely within the digital teams of all 23 brands in Condé's portfolio, specifically in the areas of digital content production and distribution strategies.
Amanda Chan is the Vice President of Content Strategy. Previously, she was the Managing Editor of Bustle, the destination website for millennial women for fashion, beauty, entertainment, wellness, relationships, and more.
Prior to joining Bustle, Amanda was Digital Deputy Editor at Teen Vogue, where she oversaw content and day-to-day operations of TeenVogue.com. She was also previously the Deputy Editor of Yahoo Health, the Managing Editor of Healthy Living at HuffPost, and a staff writer at MyHealthNewsDaily (now LiveScience Health).
Amanda received her M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and her B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
Amy oversees BDG's Brand Strategy team, which encompasses the ideation across the presale function — leading our brand partners by crafting creative storytelling initiatives matched with proprietary capabilities that span branded content, video, experiential, and innovative products.
Prior to joining BDG, Amy worked at the Hearst Corporation — launching her career at Esquire, and getting a deep understanding of the digital sphere while collaborating across the Hearst Fashion & Luxury Collection.
Amy is a graduate from Pennsylvania State University, University Park, with a: B.A. in Communications, B.A. in Spanish, and B.A. in International Studies.
Evan oversees Programmatic revenue for all BDG's properties in addition to managing data relationships.
Prior to BDG, Evan spent ten years at Time Inc. in a variety of roles including, but not limited to, leading digital efforts at Time.com and starting their Programmatic business.
Tiffany Reid oversees fashion editorial and fashion-related special projects across Bustle, The Zoe Report, NYLON, Elite Daily, and Romper.
Prior to BDG, Tiffany was a freelance stylist and creative consultant living between NY and LA after leaving her post as Style Director at Hearst Women's Fashion Group, where she contributed across titles such as Cosmopolitan, Elle, Marie Claire, Harper's Bazaar.com, and Women's Health. She joined Hearst Publications in 2015 as the Senior Fashion Editor at Cosmopolitan and Seventeen magazines; before that, she was the Fashion Market Editor at Allure, the Assistant Accessories Editor at InStyle, and a freelance accessories assistant at W magazine.
Tiffany has also held lead roles on two E! shows, Red Carpet Icons and So Cosmo, and she regularly appears on morning shows such as Good Morning America, NY Live, and ABC's The List as a fashion expert covering red carpet and fashion trends.
Nita leads the product management team at BDG and oversees product roadmap and strategy, while ensuring business and stakeholder needs are met across all BDG brands.
Prior to BDG, Nita developed monetization products at Condé Nast - working closely with the company’s revenue teams on digital growth.
Nita holds a BS and Master's degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
Jessica and The BDG Trends Group provide meaningful insights and research into what drives purchase habits, brand consideration and overall opinions for consumers across BDG’s nine properties. Jessica works with advertising and marketing partners to make the most out of their campaigns as well as host forums and events.
Jessica appears regularly as a contributor on Fox News, representing a refreshing moderate liberal take on the “issues of the day”--all through the lens of a millennial woman. She is a regular on shows such as Outnumbered, America’s Newsroom, Hannity and countless other Fox News and Fox Business programs. In July 2017, Jessica published her first book, America in the Age of Trump: Opportunities and Oppositions in an Uncertain World.
Prior to joining BDG, she was a senior strategist with Schoen Consulting and worked as a democratic pollster. She holds a PhD in political science from the London School of Economics.
Winton leads the Los Angeles arm of the Bustle Digital Group engineering team, and is working to create new opportunities for engaging readers over longer periods of time.
Winton started working professionally at a young age, building websites for companies like P&G and General Mills. Since then, he amassed over 20 years of experience, leading the engineering teams at Bleacher Report and Inverse.
