NEW YORK CITY, August 22, 2019 — Romper, the leading destination for millennial moms, today announced its first-ever event, Camp Romper, taking place on Sunday, September 22 at The LeFrak Center at Lakeside, Prospect Park, Brooklyn.

The day-long family festival is designed to create memorable moments for kids and parents alike. Families will enjoy musical performances by Rock and Roll Playhouse; interactive roller skating shows and lessons; family-friendly yoga led by renowned yoga instructor Colleen Saidman Yee; summer camp activities including obstacle courses, tie-dye, arts and crafts; and much more.

Throughout the event guests will participate in activations from leading sponsors including Athleta Girl, DairyPure®, H&M, Pampers, and Popsicle© Fruit Pops. CHiPS, a non-profit organization serving the homeless and hungry of Park Slope, Gowanus, and surrounding neighborhoods, is the exclusive charity partner of the event.

“Romper has always wanted to create a marquee event that celebrates what parents and kids can create together through play,” said Emma Rosenblum, Editor-in-Chief, BDG Lifestyle. “We believe strongly in the power of imagination and Camp Romper will allow kids to explore, dance and sparkle with possibility.”

“We’re thrilled to debut Camp Romper, Romper’s first-ever experience for parents and kids,” said Sascha Lewis, Vice President, Experiential, Bustle Digital Group. “We envision this festival becoming a signature franchise for the brand and the go-to event for families looking to make memories with their children in Prospect Park.”
