In celebration of Asian Pacific Heritage Month, Bustle and Maybelline New York launched Face the Difference—a first-of-its-kind campaign celebrating the rich spectrum of Asian Pacific beauty. Inspired by the 40 shades of Maybelline’s Fit Me Foundation, the initiative brought together 40 trailblazers from across the Asian Pacific diaspora for our most ambitious photoshoot to date. Face the Difference honored the individuality, resilience, and creative force of a community proving that Asian Pacific beauty is anything but one-size-fits-all. The campaign came to life across a premium feature and powerful social videos, earning widespread press and sparking meaningful conversation around representation in beauty.
